great photos. I love the personal feel of the photo of your lovely daughter and it is wonderful to see all the trees with beams of light shining through.
Thanks Jon, I took a ton of pictures of light shining through trees! I didn't really get them as good as I wanted though--I am not sure what I was looking for, but I am not entirely happy.
Laura: So many think that No. 1 son and she look alike. It must be true.
I haven't updated this blog in years, but still refer to it now and then and occasionally re-post things that I particularly enjoyed. I hope you do too.

Your daughter is lovely. Her eyes look like beautiful gems.
I love tree! The trees are tall and lovely. I often look at them in my yard and wonder how long they've been there.
I know quite a few have been around since slavery. If only I could speak "tree language" the stories I might hear, eh?
Thank you. I will tell her what you said about her eyes. The trees in this place have been growing for hundreds of years. It is amazing!

These are great shots. At first glance your daughter reminded me of your wife, but at second glance also your #1 son. Either way, beautiful!

Thanks, Jacer, but I try to refrain from telling her that she is beautiful. I like to tell her that she is a thinker.
